In following with the Black History theme, today’s book is “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett. I selected it, because of the content. In order to appreciate where we are, we must first understand where we come from. There was a time when the only job many thought we were qualified for was…the help. This book chronicles that in a sad, yet humorous way. It was also adapted into a movie, which was also very good.
